Rocketship is committed to complementing and strengthening existing health structures and frameworks, adding value and building capacity where possible. To achieve this, Rocketship works in partnership with key stakeholders including national governments, international and regional bodies and agencies, and other non-government organisations. Rocketship also works in partnership with local communities to improve health and well-being through improved access to quality services and information and by addressing determinants of health.

A key focus for Rocketship is to build the technical knowledge, skills and capacities of healthcare professionals across the different levels of the health system in line with the principles of primary healthcare. In doing so, Rocketship seeks to implement evidenced-based and innovative approaches, adapting these approaches to the local context to ensure impact, ownership and sustainability. In addition, Rocketship is committed to its own adaptive learning to ensure that the organisation continues to best meet the health needs of the Pacific communities it serves. Finally, Rocketship values local knowledge, and as such is committed to learning from the communities, organisations and institutions with whom it works.
